Departing from San Remo, whale & dolphin sightings are common. With a greater than 80% chance of encountering a range of whale species, as well as regular dolphin sightings.

Tour groups are capped at 16 people, with a minimum of 8 persons required for a scheduled tour to go ahead.

Includes a light morning / afternoon tea.

When is whale watching season on Phillip Island?
Whale watching season around Phillip Island generally runs through the cooler months, with tours operating from June to August depending on demand. If whales are still in the area, Phillip Island coastal cruises will continue in to September.

Where do Phillip Island Whale Watching tours depart from?
Tours depart from San Remo Jetty on Marine Parade, San Remo, near the Phillip Island Bridge. San Remo is a short drive from Cowes, and easy to access from Phillip Island. (See Below).

How many people are on each tour?
Group whale watching tours are capped at 16 passengers for comfort, while private tours can take up to 20 passengers.

Are whale and dolphin sightings guaranteed?
No wildlife sighting can be guaranteed, but there is a greater than 80% chance of encountering whales during the tour. We will do our best to find a location for whale and dolphin sightings.

We do our best to ensure you see whales and dolphins during your Phillip Island Tour. If not the Phillip Island coastline is spectacular.

Departing from San Remo, Phillip Island whale Watching is conveniently situated to access some the best whale watching locations in Bass Strait, as the annual whale migration takes place along the picturesque coast line of Phillip Island.

From time to time, tours may depart and return to Rhyll Jetty (Beach Road, Rhyll), but you will know ahead of time if your tour location is different.
